Ingredients
Potato- 2 medium size
Cooking oil- 3 teaspoon
Mustard seeds- 1/2 teaspoon
Black gram- 1 inch piece
Green chilli- 3
Onion-big one
Carror-1
Curry leaves- 2 sprigs
Turmeric powder- 1/4 Teaspoon
Water- 1/2 cup
Salt-3/4teaspoon
Oil/ Butter
Let's Study how to make masala dosa
First, let's boil the potatoes needed for the masala. here I'm going to taken 2 medium sized potatoes in pressure cooker. There will be enough to prepare 5 masala dosas. Then pour water enough to submerge the potatoes and cook it. Slice big potatoes into halves to cook faster. pressure cook it to whistles.
Cook on the high flame till the first whistle. Then cook on the low flames after that, till the third whistle. Number of whistles may very depending upon the brand and size of the pressure cooker. Turn off the stove after the third whistle and wait for 10-15min for the pressure to release completely.

After that mashed potatoes aside. Now let's prepare Masala Take a pan and put masala in the pan and add 3 tablespoon of oil in it. When the oil is hot, set the flame to medium level. Add 1/2 teaspoon of mustard seeds. When the spluttering in oil ends. add 1 teaspoon of black gram or wait for 10-15sec till black gram turns golden. When colour changes, Add 1 inch long piece of ginger, add 3 green chilli, add 1onion. some chopped carrots. Add 2 sprigs of curry leaves. Now stir well in 4-5min with medium flames. after that add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder stir 30sec till the colour change after that add 1/2 cup of water and add 3/4 teaspoon of salt and mix well. wait 2 min till it start to boil well.

Now, add the mashed potatoes into this. stir continuously for 2 min.
Now let's see how to prepare masala dosa.

Heat a pan or dosa stone when the pan is hot, take some batter and spread it spread it tilly. and also try low flame when the water on top is reduced, grease with some oil wait till it crispy and the bottom part turn golden. when it turn golden colour , spread some masala on the top. Now you can fold it according to your preference.
Now our masala dosa is ready
