A bite-sized Caribbean delicacy, these sprats recipe are incredibly boggy. Generously seasoned with my own homemade all-purpose seasoning and baked until crispy. They're the perfect starter or a healthy snack - the choice is yours! 



Ingredients for Best Sprats Recipe

1. 500 g fish (sprats)

2. 250 ml milk

3. 1 cup of flour 

4. Three cups of oil, suitable for  frying

5. sea-salt

6. 2 lemons


How to make sprats recipe


Soak the frozen sprats or anchovies in milk and let them thaw.

Take out the small fish, drain and flour them. This works very well in a bag, for example. Do not let it rest too long, otherwise the flour will become soggy.

Fry in 3 - 4 portions in hot deep-frying oil for approx. 3 - 5 minutes until it turns golden yellow colour. 

Serve with salt and lemon juice.
