There are many type of laddu. Today we are going to make most commonly and everyone favorite yellow laddu. Only few ingredients need to make laddu.
Main ingredients
1: 2 Cup Gram Flour (180g)
2: 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
3: 1 Pinch baking soda
4: 3/4 Cup Water
5: 1/2 Teaspoon Thermic powder
6: Refiled oil
7: Sugar 2 Cup (450g)
8. Food colour
9. 1/4 teaspoon Cardamom powder
10. 3 tablespoon clarified butter
11. 1/4 cup cashew nut
12. 1/4 cup raisins
13. 2 tablespoons sugar canty
STAGE -1
There are two main ingredients for making ladoo. Gram flour and sugar. Here I taken 2 cups of gram flour. Into this add 1/4 teaspoon of salt a pinch of baking soda. Combine them and mix well. Add some water to it and mix well. Approximately 3/4 cup of water we need to taken.. If you need yellow colour for laddu you may add turmeric powder or food colour. If you are using turmeric powder, add it while mixing the flour. If you are using food colour, add it in final stage. Whisk the batter till you reach this consistency. Now let it rest for 10min.
STAGE-2
Now heat enough refined oil, needed to deep fry, in a pan. To check the heat of the oil, put some drop of batter into it. If the batter drop sink and come u very quickly, the oil is ready. When the oil is ready set the flames to medium level. Now take a spoon like this, pour the batter slowly; and make the drop fall into the heated oil. In order to avoid cluster formation swirl the spoon like this. Do not let the batter stay in the oil for more than 5-10s. If it stay for long, it will become crispy. Boondis should be taken from the oil before it gets crispy. Now add sugar syrup to it. To make that, into a pan , add 2 cup of sugar. Add in exactly 1/2 cup of water to the pan. Now blend the mixture till it boils when it boils add boondis now. Do not let the syrup boil to long tp prevent thickening. Mix it well and turn off the flames. You may add yellow food colouring now. Add 1/2 teaspoon of cardamom power combine and mix well. now wait untile heat become handleable.
STAGE-3
Let's fry some cashews and raisins inghee and add to it. Into 3 tablespoon of ghee, add in 1/4 cup of cashews. When cashews turn golden brown add 1/4 cup of raisin to it. Now let's add it to the boondi mixture. You may add 2-3 tablespoon of shee alone to it directly omitting the two add 2 tablespoon of sugar canty.. Mix them well. When the heat become bearable. make them into ladoos . Now our yellow ladoo is ready!!!!!
