The days are getting hotter and there is nothing better than a fresh dessert at the end of a meal, today I enjoyed a simple and classic panna cotta with seasonal fruit such as peaches.I made it in single portions so everyone can enjoy his jar in peace haha .. The panna cotta is a recipe of Piedmontese origin, it is a spoon dessert much appreciated and known in Italy and abroad, for its simplicity and its delicate taste and its versatility. This is a fresh version with seasonal fruit but if you prefer a more classic flavor you can make it with caramel or Nutella
INGREDIENTS
- 500 ml fresh cream for desserts
- 150 ml milk
- 120 g granulated sugar
- 6 g isinglass
- half a vanilla bean
- 3 nectarines
INSTRUCTIONS
- Start preparing the Panna cotta with peaches . In a bowl with cold water, soften the gelatine.
- In a saucepan, pour the cream and milk, add the sugar and the vanilla bean and put on the heat over low heat. Heat the mixture for 15 minutes, stirring to prevent it from sticking, then remove the mixture from the heat and add the well-squeezed isinglass.
- Continue stirring to dissolve the gelatin. Now pour the mixture into single-portion jars (or aluminum molds) and refrigerate for at least 6 hours. Before serving, take the peaches, wash them and chop them coarsely.
- If the peaches are not too sweet, add sugar to taste. Take back jars and pour the peaches. The panna cotta with peach is ready to be served.
