If you remember a few weeks ago I had prepared the salted bread candles, a Christmas appetizer and they were very popular. So I thought I'd also prepare the sweet version: a real success !!!Sweet bread candles with Nutella cream are simple and quick to make and everyone likes them, very scenic to see on their Christmas tables.

INGREDIENTS

  • slices of white bread
  • 250 mascarpone
  • tablespoons nutella
  • 100 white chocolate
  • 50 granulated sugar
  • tsp water

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Start preparing the sweet bread candles with Nutella cream . First, prepare the filling: just mix the mascarpone with the Nutella in a bowl.
  2. Place the slices of bread, those without a crust so to speak, pass over them with a rolling pin to thin them.
  3. On each one spread the Nutella mousse, roll each one from the shorter side.
  4. Take a serving plate, place the first roll up high, cut the other two to obtain different heights and place the other two on the plate. To be clear, you will have to create three cylinders of different heights.
  5. Melt the white chocolate in a bain-marie and pour it over the cylinders, let it pour as if it were candle wax.
  6. Put the sugar in a saucepan with a teaspoon of water over medium heat and caramelize.
  7. On a sheet of baking paper place three toothpicks and with the help of a teaspoon (use the back) pour the sugar on the tip of each toothpick, give the shape of a flame, you have to be quick because the caramel solidifies immediately.
  8. Add the three flames above the cylinders. Your sweet bread candles with Nutella cream are ready to be enjoyed
